Bakewell Cottage was originally built as a Cottage Hospital and is still the registered war memorial for Bakewell. The building provides for light airy bedrooms with high ceilings, wide corridors and spacious social spaces. We have a small private dining room which can cater for those special private family events and beautiful secure gardens only a short walk from the town centre.
Bakewell Cottage has all the latest equipment to cater for all needs. The bathrooms are equipped with ceiling mounted tracking systems to enable a resident to be transferred directly from a wheelchair to a bath. A state of the art smart phone medication system is utilised to monitor precisely what care is given, at what time, to every single resident providing a full audit to those who may wish to view it. There are nurses on duty supported by a dedicated care team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure your loved one is expertly looked after.
